Cole Hersee 48530 Smart Battery Isolator Solenoid
Smart Battery Isolators prevent loads on auxiliary battery from draining the starting battery. They are smaller, lighter and generate less heat than standard battery isolators.
- Voltage Rating: 9-16VDC
- Termination: 5/16″ -4 copper studs
- Operating Temperature: 185°F (85°C) to -40°F (-40°C)
- LED status indicator
- Simple to install – connect to starting battery, auxiliary battery and ground
- Works with all alternator types
- Reduces battery charging system workload by not connecting auxiliary battery until primary battery is charged to 13.2V
- Allows bi-directional charging from alternator or from shore/campground charging components
- Optional start assist – connect to a momentary switch that will allow the auxiliary battery to assist the starting battery
